A Wi-Fi QR code lets guests join your network by pointing their phone camera at it, with no typing; our generator makes one for free in your browser, and your network password is never sent to our servers.

How it works
A Wi-Fi QR code holds your network name, security type and password in a standard format that iPhone and Android cameras understand. Scanning it offers to join the network.
Your password stays private
The generator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us. That’s why Wi-Fi codes are static: the details live in the image, not on a server.
When to use a dynamic code instead
If you change the Wi-Fi password regularly, a static code needs reprinting each time. A dynamic code can’t carry Wi-Fi details directly, but it can open a page that shows today’s details, which you update as often as you like.
Tips
Use WPA2 or WPA3 security.
For a guest network, consider a separate network from the one your business systems use.
Print the network name in words next to the code, for devices that can’t scan.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Wi-Fi QR code generator free?
Yes. It’s free, needs no account and has no expiry. The code works for as long as your network name and password stay the same.
Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
The password is readable by anyone who scans the code, just as it would be on a printed card. Use a guest network for public places. Our generator never sends your password anywhere.
What happens if I change my Wi-Fi password?
You’ll need a new code, because the password is inside the image. Make one here in seconds.
