What “never stops working” means

The commitments

1. No money trigger. We don’t switch a paid code off because you haven’t paid again. There is nothing further to pay.
2. No inactivity trigger. A code that isn’t scanned for years still works.
3. No scan trigger. There are no scan limits.
4. Editing for as long as we operate, within published rate limits (50 destination changes per code per day).
5. No reuse. A code ID is never given to anyone else.
6. Export at any time, free.

The only exceptions

A code stops going to your chosen destination only if:

• it’s used for abuse, such as phishing, malware or fraud;
• it’s briefly held while we review a safety flag (we aim for 2 business days);
• an order is refunded or a chargeback is lost, and you have more codes in use than you’ve paid for;
• you’ve switched on broken-link protection and your destination is down;
• you pause or retire it;
• the law requires it.

We email you whenever a code’s state changes.

If StandfastQR closes

• At least 12 months’ notice.
• sfqr.link codes keep redirecting to their last destination for at least 24 months after closing. We keep that domain paid at least 10 years ahead and hold a reserve for hosting.
• Codes on your own domain can keep working indefinitely using your export and our open-source redirector.
