1. Try the free generator (optional)
Every page has a free generator. Design your code there: colours, dot style, a logo. When you choose to make it dynamic, your design is carried over to the dashboard.
2. Buy a pack
Choose Starter, Business or Agency on the pricing page. Enter your email, tick the box to confirm you want your codes to work straight away, and pay through our secure checkout. It’s a one-time payment.
3. Sign in
After payment we email you a sign-in code. Go to the dashboard, enter your email, then the code. There are no passwords.
4. Create a code
- Choose New code.
- Enter the destination (the web address the code should open) and an optional label so you can find it later.
- Choose the domain:
sfqr.link, or one of your own domains if you’ve set one up. - Save. We run a safety check on the destination, then show your code’s address, for example
sfqr.link/K7Q2M9XD.
If the safety check flags a destination, we explain why. Most codes are created instantly; a few are held for review, which we aim to finish within 2 business days.
5. Download and print
Download as SVG or PDF for print, or PNG for screens. The scan check shows Good, Risky (with a reason) or Won’t scan before you download.
Print tips: at least 2 cm across, dark on light, and a clear margin around the code.
6. Change it whenever you need
Open the code and change its destination. The printed code opens the new page within about a minute. You can also pause a code (scanners see a “paused” page) or retire it for good.
Retiring is permanent: the code shows a “no longer in use” page for ever, and its slot stays used because IDs are never reused.
